Call for Applications: Online Course on Responding to Climate Risks in Agriculture and Natural Resource Management

The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) and the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) are now accepting applications for their Online Course on Responding to Climate Risks in Agriculture and Natural Resource Management (RCRANRM) scheduled on 5 October 2013 to 10 January 2014.

 

The online course is geared towards those about to start active involvement in, or are relatively new at implementing, climate change adaptation initiatives in the agriculture and natural resources sector. Lecturers include members of the Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change (IPCC) such as Dr. Rodel D. Lasco and Dr. Rex Victor O. Cruz from the Philippines and Dr. Rizaldi Boer from Indonesia.

 

Total fee is PhP5,500.00, covering the application/registration fee of PhP500.00 and course fee of PhP5,000.00 for Filipino participants; and US$215.00 for non-Filipino participants, covering the application/registration fee of USD100.00 and course fee of USD115.00.
