SUBJECT : Call for Papers| The 1st UPLB ConExtS – Conference on Extension Services

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension (OVCRE) will be holding its 1st UPLB ConExtS – Conference on Extension Services with the theme “Transforming Knowledge to Action, Transforming Lives” on August 5, 2014 (Tuesday) at the Continuing Education Center (CEC), UPLB.

The conference aims to showcase and highlight the outstanding extension services and programs of each college and supervised unit rendered by UPLB to the Filipino people within its 105 years of existence. This event is an occasion that will honor the great extension endeavors of the university that have helped communities within the country, and perhaps, have likewise spread out to other parts of the world. The selected Extension Services of UPLB will be published into a book to be submitted to UP Press or other reputable publishing house.

We invite all colleges and supervised units providing extension services and programs to submit two (2) full papers of their best extension programs/services detailing the service or technology, extension methods, profile and location of beneficiaries, impacts, awards and recognition, and publications, among others. Only one (1) entry from each college and supervised unit will be chosen by a UPLB committee as their distinguished extensions service and be included in the publication of Extension Services of UPLB.
