Nuevo, Perlita A.
This project aims to upgrade and enhance the Postharvest Horticulture Training and Research Center's (PHTRC) existing postharvest laboratory which caters to researchers, scientists, and industry stakeholders. This is in support to the ongoing project entitled: "Appropriate Postharvest Technologies and Mitigating Measures to Ensure Quality and Food Safety in Intact, Fresh-cut and Sprout Vegetables" which necessitates the further study of food material deformation, degree of compression, bruising or breakage acquired during harvesting, packing, storage, delivery or transportation.
