The objectives of this study is to assess the genetic diversity of Philippine adlay (Coix lacryma-jobi L.) collection at the National Plant Genetic Resources Laboratory (NPGRL), IOB using microsatellite markers. Sepcific Objectives: 1. To identify polymorphic published microsatellite (SSR) markers screen published that can be used to assess the genetic diversity of the materials; 2. To assess the degree of genetic diversity among populations of available Philippine Coix germplasm accessions using the identified microsatellite markers.
