In Vitro Culture of Segmented Seeds of Green and Ripe Mangosteen Fruits
This technology was developed to support a conservation project on mangosteen which would use in vitro technologies for collection, conservation, propagation and dissemination. This was initially based on procedures that used segmented seeds from ripe fruits. This technology however, uses both green and ripe fruits. This technology can maximize available seeds of mangosteen to propagate selections and would be useful for use in in vitro conservation.
