Makiling Cashew

‘Makiling’ cashew was developed from a seedling tree introduced from Colombia. It has spreading growth and bears fruits regularly in April to May. The apple is large, with reddish-orange skin and total soluble solids of 12.8° Brix. The nut weighs 7.3 g, 3.4 cm long, 2.4 cm wide and contains 2.8 g kernel.
