Mirabuena Governor's Plum

‘Mirabuena’ governor’s plum came from a seedling tree of unknown parentage. The mother tree is vigorous with spreading habit. It is prolific and bears fruit yearly that can be harvested from September to November. The fruit is almost globose, weighs 13.2 g and measures 2.7 cm long and 2.9 cm in diameter. The skin of ripe fruit is light purple, smooth and very thin. The flesh is purple, soft, juicy, fiber-free, mildly aromatic, sweet and 79.7% of the fruit by weight. A fruit has an average of eight flat brown seeds.
