IPB 911 or ‘FVR 1’ is the first yellow flint full-season single cross corn hybrid. It has a grain yield of 7.2 tons/ha and matures in 105 days. It is suitable for animal feed and other corn-based products. It is tolerant to corn borer and resistant to downy mildew. This hybrid was named after Hon. Fidel V. Ramos, former President of the Republic of the Philippines.
