‘Biyaya 8’ is a two to three-seeded Valencia-type peanut variety that matures in 104-110 days. It has long ang slender pods with short hooked-beak and distinct veins. It has a pod yield of 1.8-2.5 tons/ha and a seed yield of 1.8 tons/ha. The seeds are pink, medium to large, and choppy. This variety is resistant to peanut rust and late Cercospora leaf spot. It is tolerant to partial shading (under coconut).
