‘Biyaya 12’ is a two to three-seeded Valencia-type peanut variety that matures in 101-103 days. It has a pod yield of 2.5-2.8 tons/ha and seed yield of 1.34-1.87 tons/ha. The seeds are light pink, medium, and choppy. This variety is highly resistant to peanut rust and late Cercospora leaf spot, resistant to leafhopper damage, and moderately resistant to Aspergillus flavus. It is recommended for wet and dry season planting.
