‘Tubli’ roots can be applied by broadcasting or spraying to control golden snail infesting rice fields. In the broadcast method, finely chopped ‘tubli’ are scattered in either transplanted or direct-seeded fields. On the other hand, for spraying rice fields, ‘tubli’ roots are chopped, crushed and then soaked in water for 24 hours. The resulting liquid is dispensed using a knapsack sprayed.
