PSB Rc 32 Rice
PSB Rc 32, popularly known as ‘Jaro,’ is an irrigated lowland rice variety released by the National Seed Industry Council in 1997. It has an average yield of 5.2 tons/ha and a maximum yield of 8.8 tons/ha. It matures in 112 days with a height of 94 cm. Its responses to pest and diseases are as follows: susceptible to stemborer; intermediate to blast, tungro and green leafhopper; and resistant to bacterial blight and brown plant hopper.
