PSB Rc 74 Rice
PSB Rc 74, popularly known as ‘Aklan,’ is a rainfed lowland rice variety released by the National Seed Industry Council in 1998. In the advanced yield trials, it had a yield advantage of 16.1% over IR 72 in six locations and 15.5% and 16.4% over IR 72 and PSB Rc 4 in 20 additional locations during the wet season trials.
