CG91-08-05 or ‘Sultan 6’ is an industrial cassava variety, suitable for starch and feed production. It has white flesh and pink cortex with fresh root yield of 39.1 tons/ha. It contains 35% root dry matter and 23% root starch. It is resistant to spider mites, scale insects, bacterial blight and moderately resistant to leaf spot under field conditions. Harvest maturity is 10 months after planting. It is adapted to all regions of the Philippines.
