UPL Sp-12 sweet potato has green foliage and slightly toothed mature leaves. Its tuberous roots have cream skin and yellow flesh. It has an average fresh root yield of 15.9 tons/ha, root dry matter content of 29%, and starch content of 22.5%. Harvest maturity is 105 to 120 days. This variety is resistant to scab and weevil under field conditions and is adapted to all regions in the Philippines.
