Bituin Cucumber
‘Bituin’ is an open-pollinated slicing type cucumber. It is strongly gynoecious, very vigorous, and highly prolific. It flowers in 28-30 days after planting and fruits can be harvested 10 days after flower opening. The fruits are dark green, uniform, medium to long with white spines and thick flesh with potential yield of 25-35 tons/ha. It is resistant to downy and powdery mildews, tolerant to squash beetles, leaf folders, and aphids.
