Cultural Management for the Seed Production of Vegetable Cultivars |

This is a set of cultural management technologies developed and being utilized for the seed production of various vegetable crops bred by the university. The technologies have been used in the production and multiplication of seeds, both in-house and contract grown. The technologies, which include the proper spacing and plant population, levels of fertilization, pruning and trellising, have been shared to farmer breeders, farmer growers, students, and technical staff of seed companies and government agencies which are targeting the use of cultivars developed by the university.
