CGP 14 Garden Pea
CGP 14 or ‘Trinidad’ is a climbing type of garden pea, which flowers 44 days after planting starting from the 11th to 14th node. It has violet flowers and a high degree of pod doubling. The plants are 1.5-1.9 m in height at the last harvest. The pods of CGP 14 are dark green in color, 7.4-9.7 cm in length and 1.6-1.8 cm in diameter. This variety bears 8-10 seeds per pod. It is highly resistant to powdery mildew and fusarium wilt. It is suitable for high elevation areas like Benguet and mid-elevation areas in Quezon and Laguna.
