Mussaenda Doña ‘Corazon Aquino’ has petaloid calyx lobes with one larger than the rest; in bud both surfaces pale green, red-tipped, hairy. At anthesis, the largest lobe is 4-5 cm x 7-75. cm and hairy. Its hairs and veins below are solid red. This can be utilized both as landscaping material and potted flowering plant. This variety is named after the former Philippine President, Corazon C. Aquino.
