Milk Preservation using Lactoperoxidase/ Hydrogen Peroxide/ Thiocyanate System
Raw milk processing can be delayed by 8 hours or longer using the lactoperoxidase/ hydrogen peroxide/ thiocyanate (LP) system which is more effective than refrigeration and Hyrdogen peroxide treatment. This method is based on indigenous antibacterial systems in milk.
