UPLB Hand Tractor
The UPLB hand tractor is a power tiller-type machine that is durable and simple in construction. It utilizes two surplus automotive differentials to effect the necessary speed reduction and power transmission, which makes it highly efficient. With its improved power transmission system, the UPLB hand tractor can utilize lower power engines than the existing local hand tractors. It is easy to operate and compatible with various tillage implements. It can be operated by one person both in dry land and lowland conditions. It measures 250 x 50 x 43 cm (LWH) and weighs 128.6 kg if without the engine. For its power transmission, it uses a belt, a pulley and the automotive differentials. It is run by a 5-7 hp-gasoline engine.
