Focus and Scope
Original research papers, notes and brief communications on aspects of natural history especially those in support of studies on biodiversity and its conservation, undergo a double-blind peer review before acceptance for publication. Review and theoretical papers as well as catalogues and checklists backed up by specimen documentations may also be considered.
Articles to be submitted should be the result of recently conducted research. The article should clearly state when and where the study was conducted.
Peer Review Process
Non-conformity to the above may be grounds for rejection of the paper. Once the manuscript has passed the check, it will be sent to the designated reviewers. Review is double-blind. Members of the Editorial Board who will submit papers to the journal either as main author or co-author will not participate in the decision process for the acceptance/rejection of the manuscript.
The revisions proposed by the reviewers should be put encoded by the author(s) on their copy. The revised manuscripts should be returned through e-mail within two weeks after receipt of reviewed manuscripts; otherwise, the editor(s) may selectively incorporate the proposed changes of the reviewers.
Succeeding correspondences will only be through e-mail until the accepted paper has bee published in the designated issue.
Publication Frequency
Individual items will be published as soon as they are ready, by adding them to the "current" volume's Table of Contents.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
