The Asia Pacific Journal of Human Development and Family Studies (AHEAD)  is the bi-annual, double-blind, online, peer-reviewed journal of the UPLB Department of Human and Family Development Studies (DHFDS). It focuses on transdisciplinary research related to human development and family studies.

It is a venue for sharing and engaging theories, concepts, practical applications, and research output of academics, practitioners, and policymakers vis-à-vis the fields of human development and family studies. Learning and education are no longer confined to time and place. It is a continuous process that springs from people’s everyday lives and interactions with other groups and the environment.
