A crash course consisting of hands-on preparation of a feasible agroforestry enterprise that the participants want to establish in their respective sites. Components of feasibility study like market study, technical analysis, financial analysis, economic analysis and operational analysis will be emphasized through preparation of actual cases; designed for community development workers and technical staff who are engaged in the preparation of projects that require ex-ante analysis.

The course covers the the concept and application of credit management practices in the cooperative which includes the concepts and principles of savings, the elements of credit/lending policy, and effective lending process. This is a CDA-mandatory training course required for officers of credit cooperatives to equip them with the necessary skills in managing savings and credit.
The course covers the basic competencies required of a member of the Board of Directors and the treasurers in overseeing the management of the financial resources of the cooperative
The course covers the fundamental knowledge of cooperatives that all coop officers should have, as mandated by RA 9520.
The course is designed to enhance the knowledge of the cooperatives in mainstreaming gender and development in the cooperative policies, plans and programs.
The course is designed to enhance the knowledge of the Board of Directors and the General Manager in the practice of good governance and management, thereby enabling them to contribute to the effective operation of the cooperative as an economic and social enterprise.
The course covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes required of the member of the Audit Committee in performing effectively their roles and functions and in ensuring adequate internal control in the cooperative.
Consists of lecture and laboratory sessions on marketing concepts and strategies as applied to forest products; geared toward the development of an effective marketing plan; emphasis is on different marketing concepts in relation to current trends (local and global) that affect effective marketing of forest products; designed for middle management personnel of wood based companies involved in the marketing of various forest products.

The Master of Management Midyear Program is an annual activity of the Department of Agribusiness Management and Entrepreneurship, College of Economics and Management, University of the Philippines Los Baños. It is a preparatory activity for incoming Master of Management students.
It also caters to those who want to have a refresher or short-term course
on management. The midyear program is a 5-weekend course (Friday afternoons, Saturdays, and Sundays) offering offered from June 14 to July 19, 2019.
It consists of three modules: Introduction to Management and Business Functions (Module I), Quantitative Approaches to Management (Module II), and Accounting (Module III). Participants who successfully passed the midyear program will be recommended to the Graduate School. Additional modules on Introduction to Agribusiness Management and Managerial Economics are offered to MM-ABME majors.

Consists of lecture and laboratory sessions on the planning and control of production processes of forestry-based industries; includes various tools and techniques to efficiently manage various units of operations in a manufacturing plant. Laboratory exercises include use of computers and various softwares to solve problems in queuing situations, inventory control, scheduling, etc.; designed for supervisors in forest-based industries who want to enhance their understanding of production management using different mathematical tools.
