The Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology is extending the invitation on the Nomination for the ASEAN Prize 2019. It is a regional premier award which aims to acknowledge the inspiring and outstanding achievements of an individual or organization in fostering the ASEAN identity, promoting the ASEAN spirit, and championing the ASEAN way.

The Department of Science and Technology - CALABARZON (DOST-CALABARZON) is pleased to announce the conduct of the 2019 Regional Invention Contest and Exhibits (RICE) alongside with the celebration of the Regional Science and Technology Week (RSTW) on September 25 – 27, 2019 at Santa Rosa Multi-Purpose Complex, City of Santa Rosa, Laguna.
The competition has six categories:
(1) Outstanding Invention (Tuklas Award), (2) Outstanding Utility Model, (3) Outstanding Industrial Design, (4) Outstanding Creative Research (Likha Award), (5) Outstanding Student Creative Research (Sibol Award) for high school students, and (6) Outstanding Student Creative Research (Sibol Award) for college students.
The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science is now accepting applications for the 12th HOPE Meeting with Nobel Laureates in Tokyo, Japan from 9-13 March 2020.
The HOPE meeting provides opportunities for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from Asia-Pacific Region to engage in interdisciplinary discussions with Nobel laureates and other distinguished scientists pioneering the frontiers of knowledge.
The nomination is open to promising young researchers who obtained his/her PhD in Physics, Chemistry or Physiology/Medicine and related fields (receiving their PhDs after 2 April 2014).
Interested parties are requested to submit the accomplished application form together with other documents to OUSEC-STS not later than 26 August 2019.
The Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD) of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) is ready to accept research and development (R&D)/science and technology (S&T) proposals for 2020.
This Call for Proposals is for specific priority areas identified in the Harmonized National R&D Agenda (HNRDA) 2017 – 2022.
