The Department of Science and Technology is calling for mutually beneficial and collaborative project proposals for implementation in the 1st Quarter of 2025 in any of the identified priority areas.

Interested parties are advised to coordinate with prospective counterpart/collaborator in Taiwan to craft the capsule proposals. The Filipino researcher must submit the capsule proposals to the respective DOST Council while the Taiwanese counterpart will submit the same to NSTC for review and evaluation.

The University will be honoring the achievements of faculty and staff who have made substantial contributions in the fields of research, extension, and creative arts through the 2024 UPLB AGORA Outstanding Researcher and Research Project Awards and 2024 UPLB AGORA Outstanding Extension Personnel and Extension Project Awards.

This annual recognition will be given during the special convocation commemorating the 115th Foundation Anniversary of UPLB in March 2024.

The UP System is now calling for applications to the UP Scientific Productivity System for CY 2023. Applications for renewal of UP Scientists awarded for the term CY 2020-2022 are also included in this call.

The Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Agricultural Research (DA-BAR) is now accepting proposals for possible funding and implementation in 2024. The proposals must be aligned with the DA's R4D thrust and priorities.

The DOST - JSPS Joint Research Program is a bilateral exchange program that provides support for research to be conducted jointly by Filipino and Japanese researchers in accordance with their mutual agreement on international scientific collaboration.

It aims to contribute to scientific advancement by conducting bilateral research and to provide opportunities for young researchers to meet and exchange ideas.
