Nagoya U-Ph campus, UPLB to host webinar on postgrad opportunities for Filipinos

Together with UPLB, the Nagoya University Asian Satellite Campus Institute (NUASCI)-Philippines will be hosting a webinar on postgraduate opportunities available for Filipinos from government agencies and universities.
The webinar titled “Leading the Way: The Nagoya University Transnational Doctoral Programs for Leading Professionals in Asian Countries” will be held on 18 January this year.
NU officials will introduce the first phase of ASCI which is the development of human resources in Asia, and the second phase which is the International Station of Tropical Agricultural Sciences (ISTAS).
For those who are interested to study in NU, the webinar will discuss procedures, admission requirements, and deadlines for application to the transnational doctoral programs of NU and doctoral programs offered at NUASCI-Philippines.
NUASCI-Philippines started offering doctorate degrees in international development and bioagricultural sciences in 2016 and is one of the six Asian satellite campuses of NU. Other degrees granted by NU focus on education, law, and medicine. It is currently based at the UPLB Graduate School.
The webinar will also highlight opportunities for joint research projects and academic mobility for faculty, researchers, and students across the research stations and sub-stations of the NU Japan-Cambodia-Philippines network.
The webinar is open to all interested faculty and REPS from UP constituent universities, government agencies, academic institutions partnering with NU, SUCs, and scholarship partner institutions.
