Saludo Canistel
The mother tree of ‘Saludo’ canistel is strong with spreading branches. It is prolific and bears fruit every year that can be harvested from January to April. The fruit is ovoid, weighs 458 g and measures 11 cm long and 9.3 cm in diameter. The skin of the ripe fruit is golden yellow, smooth, shiny and very thin. The flesh is thick, smooth, sticky and sweet, golden yellow and 92.2% of the fruit by weight. The fruit has three to five large, oblong, black seeds.
