Fruit is ovoid, large, 4-5 cm long and 3-4 cm wide, and weighs 35-50 g. Skin is thin with fine, long spines and changes from greenish yellow to scarlet red when ripe. Flesh is pearly white, thick, firm slightly dry to medium, juicy, and has a very sweet desirable flavor. It separates readily from seed with seed coat adhering to flesh. Seed is oblong to ovoid, slightly compressed laterally and measures 2-3 cm long and 1.3-1.6 cm wide.
