UPL Ct-1 cotton or Batac 1 takes 57 days to first flower and 120 days to peak harvest. Its bolls are glanded with an average boll weight of 4.15 g. The average number of bolls per plant is seven. It has a plant height of 100-120 cm at maturity. Batac 1 is moderately resistant to aphids, leaf hoppers, boll weevil and leaf folder. It is also moderately resistant to root knot nematodes. It is however, moderately susceptible to bollworm. Batac 1 is also resistant to assochyta blight, anthracnose, helminthosporium blight, and alternaria leaf spot.
