UPL Ct-2 cotton or Batac 2 takes 54 days to first flower and 136 days to peak harvest. Its bolls are small and glanded with an average height of 3.87 g per boll. The average number of bolls is 7.5 per plant and it yields 2, 372 kg of seed cotton on the average with a lint recovery 38.8%. Plant height at maturity ranges from 84-127 cm. Batac 2 is highly resistant to angular leaf spot, vein flight and black arm diseases. It is also resistant to thrips, cotton leafhoppers and aphids but moderately susceptible to bollworm.
