Weed Control Action Indicators (WCAI) is a weed management technology for broadcast-seeded rice to maintain high yield with the least cost. Essentially, WCAI helps the farmer decide whether to control weeds or not. Rice farmers can use this technology to properly assess broadcast-seeded rice in order to avoid unnecessary weed control such as herbicides. This management technology is very simple and easy to follow, and is now being tested in some regions of the country.
