Tiwala 6 Soybean
‘Tiwala 6,’ a yellow soybean, is a cross between IPB Sy 144-74 and AGS 66. It matures in 86 to 104 days and yields an average of 1-4.1 tons/ha. This variety is resistant to soybean rust. It is recommended for dry season planting in Northern and Central Luzon and Southern Tagalog. An irrigated crop during the dry season, it can yield more than 2.5 tons/ha. This variety has excellent resistance to pod shattering.
