Datu 1 Cassava
UPL Cv-1 or ‘Datu 1’ is an industrial cassava variety, suitable for starch and feed production. It has white flesh and pink cortex with fresh root yield of 42 tons/ha. It contains 37% root dry matter and 29% root starch. It is resistant to cassava bacterial blight and leaf spot under field conditions. Harvest maturity is 10 months and is adapted to all regions of the Philippines.
