Rajah 2 Cassava
CG97-07-05 or ‘Rajah 2’ is an all-purpose cassava variety, suitable for food, starch, and feed production. It has white flesh and pink cortex with fresh root yield of 34.4 tons/ha. It contains 39.6% root dry matter and 29.6% root starch. It is resistant to spider mites, scale insects, leaf spot and bacterial blight under field conditions. Harvest maturity is 10 months after planting. This variety is adapted to all regions of the Philippines.
