Sagana Cowpea
‘Sagana’ or UPL Cp-1 cowpea has dark green pods that can be harvested in 60 days. It has a seed yield of 1.09 tons/ha. It is resistant to bean rust but susceptible to fusarium stem and root rot. It is tolerant to shade and drought.
