‘Tagumpay’ is an open-pollinated eggplant variety. Plants produce 6-8 fruits per cluster. The fruits are deep purple, seedy, elongated and blunt that can be harvested in 55-75 days from planting. Fruit yield is 24 tons/ha during the dry season and 23 tons/ha during the wet season. This variety is resistant to leaf hoppers, moderately resistant to twig borers and bacterial wilt, and susceptible to fruit borer.
