A set of new, correct conversion factors for liquid milk equivalent (LME) is now available for the use by the Philippine government to assess the dairy industry situation. This new set of conversion factors is officially approved by key government officials for national use. It is now being used to compute the LME based on the total milk solids method of dairy products, which fall under the harmonized coding system and tariff headings.
