| Calamias can be developed into a cheaper souring agent or seasoning. The fruit is squeezed, dried, then ground or powdered. A suitable carrier is mixed to prevent caking. The product may be spiced or not and packed in double laminates or any other suitable packaging material. The cost of pilot scale production is P3.50 per pack of 30 g. |
