This processing system is able to produce organic fertilizer and even feeds at a rate of 1 ton/hr. It can be fed with livestock and poultry manure, plant parts, municipal, agricultural and industrial wastes which have been decomposed with the aid of Trichoderma, Lactobacilli, Azetobacter, and enzymes. The materials are dried to about 15% moisture content, milled, and graded to remove foreign materials. Using a mixer, different materials in powder or pellet form are added to increase the levels of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. The main advantage of this fertilizer plant is that it uses locally available materials, equipment and the non-conventional pelletizing system which eliminates the use of an expensive boiler. Second, the system can be custom designed to suit the needs of small livestock, poultry and aquaculture farmers and cooperatives.
