ABPROD-AMDP Municipal Solid Waste Management Program |
---|
The ABROD-AMDP waste program is a technology for an economically-viable processing facility for producing bio-organic fertilizer from biodegradable wastes generated by a municipality or village. The program has six machine or processing units, namely: the shredder/breaker machine, an optional hammermill/breaker, a pelletizer, a sifter/grader, a mixer, and a flatbed dryer. After sorting the wastes in the municipal segregation facility, the biodegradable garbage is shredded, processed and composted for some time. The resulting compost is then harvested and sifted to produce fine compost material. It can already be bagged and sold but it can also be further developed into pellets, dried and packaged for markets.
