AMDP Manual Jatropha Fruit Dehusker
The AMDP manual jatropha fruit dehusker is a machine used to separate jatropha seeds from the fruit pods. It is aimed to cater to small-scale jatropha production. The machine is a component of the technology package for the extraction of crude oil from jatropha seeds. The machine is made of wood with metal frame support and is crank-operated. Three persons are needed to manually operate the machine. One operator is needed to load the fruits into the bin, another to operate the crank and turn the wooden drum which performs the actual dehusking, and another operator to separate the seeds from the pods by spreading the dehusked materials on a sieve. The capacity of the machine is approximately 50-80 kg per hour.
