AMDP Jatropha Seed Sheller
The AMDP jatropha seed sheller prototype is a component of the technology package for the extraction of crude oil from jatropha seeds. The sheller has a drum and concave assembly for separating the kernel from the seed coat. It has a capacity of 800-1,500 kg per hour for seed moisture content of 11-15%, with a shelling efficiency of about 85%. It uses a 1 hp electric motor and requires one person to operate.
