This drilling rig model is almost similar to the DA-UPLB Drilling Rig Model I except for the additional features. It is a machine for installing shallow tubewells for irrigation or domestic water supply. Its major features include the following: lightweight and cheaper compared to other models; could be transported manually and installed even in the middle of the farm without feeder costs; easy to set up, assemble and operate by three people; motorized pipe hammering either through overhead of sleeve of the pipe; and most parts could be fabricated and repaired in the local or village level.
