The CVM Veterinary Teaching Hospital - Diliman Station is capable of doing routine laboratory tests such as complete blood count with platelet count, urinalysis, fecalysis, fecal flotation, microfilaria test, fungal exam, skin scrapings, and ear swab. Blood Chemistry, and Health Check Profile that includes 14 parameters can also be conducted. The facility can also do special tests in cytology like impression smear, vaginal smear, penile swab, and Gram staining. Antibody and Antigen Tests for Heartworm, Canine Distemper, and Ehrlichia can also be performed. Necropsy is also available upon schedule.

The laboratory is capable of performing fecalysis, blood parasite examination and parasite identification.

The Microbiology Division Microbiology Services Laboratory provides and conducts microbiological analyses as requested and specified by different clients who come from all walks of life (public or private individuals/institutions, domestic, academic, research or industrial sectors).

The UPLB Museum of Natural History has six biological collections which provide biological specimen identification services needed by researchers and students alike.

The Veterinary Histopathology Laboratory under the Department of Veterinary Paraclinical Sciences (VPCS) provides tissue section preparation service for histopathological analysis.
